* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Luger P.08 Snail Drum 2nd Issue (32 rnd.) Magazine. This Second Type II Snail Drum has a crown "S" proof on the mag. body and is fitted with a folding winding lever. The magazine top and bottom are marked with the maker's code, "B/N" (Bing Brothers, Nuremberg), and the serial number, "661040". The top of the drum bears the concentric reinforcing ribs found on later magazines, and the numbers "12", "17", "22", "27" and "32" are stamped around the circumference of the magazine bottom. The magazine displays some mottling along with some freckling and there are areas of some shallow pitting and pin prick pitting but nothing I consider alarming. The magazine functions correctly and can be displayed with no qualms. The overall condition of this original scarce magazine is good. Inv. # G 2851
