Excellent 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Carbine. Retains a good 90% blue, 90% darkening case colors, and excellent bore.The wood is exceptional and SN 22xxx is well within the Custer range. These are getting harder to find. An excellent martial cartouche is present on the left side of the receiver. All in all a well cared for carbine that may have played a role in history.
