Description:
Excellent Colt 1851 Army/Navy, SN 56XXX all match. Gun retains a good 50% original blue on barrel and strong case colors on frame and loading lever. As appropriate, the gun is marked US under the patent date. Edges very crisp and bore is fine. Action is crisp and indexing perfect. The grips are excellent and a cartouche is present on left side.There are also subinspectors initials in appropraite places. The bore is fine and shows sharp rifling. The cylinder scene is retained 100% and clearly shows the engagement date. Absolutely one of the best navies I have ever seen.
