Up for sale is a VERY RARE 1 of 4 ever made ultimate sheep rifle the "Yukoner", built by Mark Bansner's company while he was still the owner and building his own rifles! Speaking to the gunsmith who built this rifle he recalled building it and the man who it was built for and whose name appears on the action. Built on a 700 style stainless steel action with Ti-K-cote coating, all metal surfaces have the same coating to include the Talley mounts and Talley rings. This rifle sports a Jewell trigger and the trigger guard is a custom design of Mark Bansner himself, unique to his rifles! The stainless steel Lilja 24" barrel with an integral muzzle break has a 1 in 10 twist as standard with most .308 bores and is perfect! The stock is a High Tec Specialties Stock with a Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad that make this lightweight rifle very shooter friendly. The rifle is like new and was taken on one elk hunt. Mark being a very modest man, told me he built some nice rifles, well I think he may be one of the better rifle makers to come along in some time! Any reasonable offer will be considered!
