WINCHESTER MODEL 23 CLASSIC 28 GAUGE with 26" barrels showing bright and excellent bores choked modified and improved and so inscribed on the barrels. THIS IS THE SMALL FRAME 28 GAUGE and is one of the prettiest little doubles ever produced. The vent rib features white beads at the midpoint and muzzle. Both metal and wood exhibit nerly 99% of the original finish, the gun shows no signs of field wear and has been fired very little. There is one tiny, light scratch through the gold inlaid "28" designation on the top of the barrels at the lock.
