#37060 , Holland & Holland Northwood 16Ga. A 1958 scalloped boxlock ejectors.
A true left hand game gun at 6 pounds , with ¼” cast on , left hand triggers, and a dished out right side of the comb.
The other stock dimensions are: LOP 14 9/16” over a .800 leather cover Decelerator pad, and 1 ½” &2 ¼” drop
The action with 80% scroll coverage retains 90% of vivid bone and charcoal colors. Automatic safety and nice trigger
Brake at 4 ¼# and 4 ½ #.
The barrels are 28” long with 2 ¾” chambers with fitted lumps, the bores are mirror and at the proof diameter of .662”.
Chokes are .012” light modified and .038” tight full. Minimum wall thickness is .030”. The breech is tight on the action, and the soldering solid. The blacking is 90% condition, with a few scuffs at the muzzle and a light oxidation spot on the top of the right barrel 4” from the muzzle.
The straight grip stock with tear drops shows some usage marks, no oil soaking or cracks. The checkering has no dents or missing diamonds.
Ejectors timing is dead on , and the throw really strong.
The shotgun has been hunted and the finishes reflect that fact at 90% condition, on the mechanical aspect I would rate it at 95% +.
