Description:
Excellent Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver, in .31 caliber with a 5 inch barrel. The gun retains a good 90% of cylinder scene and about 90% original blue. SN 17XXX all matching and bore is excellent. Action is crisp and tight and indexing is perfect. There is 98% original silver plate on the trigger guard and backstrap, which is expected on a gun with this low a serial no. The walnut grips retain about 95% original varnish. Traces of safety pins are present. Also, the frame, loading lever and hammer retain about 85% original case colors, darkening a bit with age. A very special pocket!! REDUCED!!!
