Description:
Winchester Model 12 – 12 Gauge S/N 1372096 built in 1952. This gun was bought by my father in Japan during his tour there after the war. He had a Japanese engraving craftsman embellish it with a factory like pattern and platinum mounted birds and dogs and a gold inlayed tail for the pheasant. An excellent field gun that both he and later myself used for many bird hunts. The condition is good with the expected wear the years have provided. The years he had this gun it was stored in the original cloth carry case and the bluing on the right side of the receiver is showing it’s age. I replaced the case with a durable break-down case. It does have the poly-choke on a 28” barrel. There is a twin to this gun I am selling on listing 100502500. I would love to keep these beautiful guns together with an appreciative collector.
