Mauser P08 9mm Luger caliber pistol. Very rare! Assembled between 1941 and 1942 at the German Police Armory in Berlin. It was made from a used frame, some used parts, and unissued armorers parts. The barrel is Eagle 623, indicating production by Steyr. The barrel extension is marked 42 indicating that it is a replacement part made by Mauser. The middle toggle link and extractor are unissued left over WWI Erfurt parts. The sear bar is Eagle HZaJT13 proofed indicating depot production. Both grips are unnumbered and Eagle 135 proofed. The firing pin and barrel are also unnumbered. All the rest of the parts are matching. This pistol was made in a special run with the serial number starting with “0”. The bore is excellent and metal retains 99% finish with some minor etching on the side plate. Overall excellent condition. Very rare wartime assembly!
