For Sale is a rare Remington-UMC 1911 Semi Auto pistol chambered in .45 ACP caliber. It is one of only about 21,000 made for the U.S. Army in 1918-19. By the serial number this one was made in January of 1919. The parts of the pistol are all correct with a newer barrel and no evidence of arsenal rework marks. The frame and slide markings are still pretty crisp. The slide is blued but the frame has been parkerized. Grips show wear but are very good for almost 100 years old.
