ENGRAVED COLT BREVETE MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER CIRCA 1860’S. .36 caliber "36 CAL" six shot percussion revolver with 6 ½” Colt Hartford factory barrel with one line “ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA”. All matching and original including the factory floral scroll engraving and a floral cylinder scene. Nice original patina with minor amounts of original nickel plating. Crisp Liege proofs on the cylinder and “CROWN/MF” on the frame. Some peen marks at percussion cap loading recess. Original bone factory grips with some minor loss at the left frame. Very nice large size Colt Brevette Navy. Working order and good bore and chambers with some rust which clean out well.
