VINTAGE PARTIAL BOX REMINGTON UMC CARTRIDGE COMPANY .32 COLT POLICE POSITIVE CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES, ca 1907 -1911. Manufactured by the Remington – UMC Cartridge Company, this three piece box bears the “Cartridge Picture” dark red label. Colt introduced their Police Positive small frame double action revolver in 1907. This style of box was appeared around ca. 1911. End label includes the advisement that the cartridges are loaded with “Black Powder”. The top label is complete and legible, showing very minor wear. This box has been opened and the majority of the red paper band is present on one side and one end. Partial tear on inside form wall. The box has 19 factory cartidges left in it, all with the proper headstamps. This would be a very nice box to display with a Colt Police Positive Pistol and featuring the cartridge picture label.
