FINE ALLEN & WHEELOCK .22 RF CAL. SIDEHAMMER POCKET REVOLVER CA. 1864. 7 shot single action with 2 7/8th inch barrel. Barrel crisply stamped on left flat “ALLEN& WHEELOCK, WORCESTER, MASS.” With the patent dates “ALLEN’S PAT’S SEPT 7. NOV. 9, 1859.” 100% original and superior for one of these early cartridge derringers. Fine patina on metal with some minor original blue in the recesses. Perfect working order and nice bore and chambers. Excellent walnut grips. A 9 on a scale of 10 for one of these.
