Top of frame stamped “Spencer Repeating/ Rifle Company/Boston Mass.”. Excellent overall with 70-80% barrel blue and dark case hardening mixed with crisp original brown patina on the frame. Excellent wood with 95% plus of the original arsenal finish and with two extra nice U.S. Government Inspector’s cartouches on the left wrist. Perfect working order and excellent bright bore.
