EARLY REMINGTON OVER/UNDER .41 CAL. DERINGER CA. 1871-73. Scarce and early production two line “E. REMINGTON & SONS” address with the “ELLIOT’S PATENT DEC 12TH 1865” patent marking. Near mint with all the original nickel finish. Original rosewood grips in near mint condition as well. Screws, hammer, trigger and barrel latch lever with most of the blue. Very small, barely visible numbers (936 60 50) neatly engraved on the bottom of the frame may be an old police department accession number. Near mint bores and perfect working order. Extra nice Frontier Era derringer.
