Description:
This bayonet features "S/244 G" ricasso stamping, flashguard, two Weimar eagle Waffenampts on pommel with an added "A" and refurbished blade with light pinprick pitting under finish. The wood grips are in excellent condition with marks from use scabbard shows "S/174G" maker's code with non matching serial number and wears a tiny Weimar eagle inspection stamp on ball final. Scabbard shows 85% blued finish. A very good example of this early Nazi production bayonet.
