Payment Types Accepted: M/C, VISA, American Express and Discover Description: DWM 1906 Navy 9mm Para caliber pistol. Very rare Navy rework. It started out as a 1906 second issue Navy Luger. The left frame has the hole for the grip safety and the lower right frame is marked with a small Crown over M. As indicated by the 1920 on the top of the barrel extension it was still in service during the Weimar era. About 1930 it was reworked at the Heereszugamt Spandau (Army Equipment Depot Spandau) near Berlin. The barrel was shortened and the front sight put back on. The rear toggle link was replaced and is marked SU over 50 which indicates the part was made and inspected at the Spandau Depot. The front toggle link is Imperial Navy proofed and is numbered 56 instead of 66, which may be just an error. The extractor, firing pin, and the 1940-41 era grips are unnumbered. The wooden bottom magazine is also unnumbered and has a very small navy style crown on the bottom. The left of the barrel extension has 3 Imperial Navy stamps. On the left barrel and opposite on the barrel extension are Weimar era Eagle over O naval proofs. The front grip strap is marked O.739 which indicates that it went to the East Sea Fleet. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Metal has 99% of the depot refinish. Excellent condition EXTREMELY RARE Navy rework that went through WWII. SOLD |
