p15xxx (1966) 270 Wby. Magnum, 24" bbl., built for Charles Russhon, retired Colonel U.S. military, philanthropist, hunter & hunter. Custom work completed by Weatherby Custom Shop same year. Stockby Richards Microfit of fine root Mytlewood with much stlipping grain & rosewood inlays also gold inlayed nameplate,factory pad, numerous 24kt. gold leaf inlays on barrel, receiver, floorplate, bolt & handle, gold inlays of Rocky M ountain Bighorn & American Whitetail on triggergard & floorplate. Excellent + with lightest of handling, cased enclosed with letter signed by Mr. Weatherby, One of highest grade Weatherbys made.
