Description:
.30-06 caliber, correct replaced barrel dated "10/06 under S bursting bomb A". The casehardened receiver is marked "U.S. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1903" . Serial number 91187. The stock's upper handguard replaced with the new "06" model, and the stock has 1908 crossbolt modifaction. Number "4" stamped behind the triggerguard. This is a superb example of the arsenal alteration of the early rod-bayonet model and 100% correct. Excellent condition with a good bright bore and much of the original blue.
