Description:
Colt Detective Special serial number 861744 was produced in 1964. I would rate the Nickel finish at 97%. The bore is bright and the rifling is very good. The grips appear to be quite worn for the amount of finish on the gun, maybe replacements? Very rare combination to find an old school Detectvie in nickel with a 3" barrel as not many were mfg.
