Description:
This special order Winchester has a 30" bbl, full length mag tube and a crescent buttplate. The long bbl 1873 always gets attention. Has a very nice aged brown patina on the receiver, bbl and mag tube. The metal is nice and smooth with the exception of a couple of dings on the bbl.Dust cover is present. The bore is in good cond with nice rifling and no pitting. There is some roughness. Above average bore. Buttstock is nice fitting at both upper and lower tang and also at the buttplate. Light shrinkage at the toe. There is a repaired crack on the left hand upper corner. No loss of wood and well done. Forearm is also in VG cond with normal use marks. Nice old Winchester!! Comes with a research form.
