Winchester Model 1890 First Model .22 Short. 24” Octagon barrel. Wood is proud of metal. Nice original fit. No crack in wood. Some remaining nickel from case color. Nice original blue on barrel. Serial number 13752, built in 1891. Screws are very clean and unmessed with. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being worse and 10 being best, bore is a 1 ½ to 2 consistent throughout. Very little sign of rifling. Rear sight looks to not be original, but dovetail under sight is in excellent condition.
