Description:
This is a pre-owned Winchester Model 61 Hammerless manufactured in 1951. It is chambered in .22 S, L, or LR. Has a 24 inch round barrel, a tube magazine, open sights, a grooved fore arm, and a plain grip stock. This rifle shows signs of heavy use, the bluing is worn off of the metal from the cycling of the fore arm, and the metal shows many small scratches. The wood has many small scratches and dents, the longest is on the right side of the fore arm. The barrel is clean and bright with the lands being just visible. There is a sticker on the bottom of the pistol grip that states “NEWYORK HDWE. TRAD. CO. LOS ANGELES Fisherman’s Headquarters Since 1910”.
