Colt 1911 Patriotic Tribute by America Remembers in .45 ACP. This Colt Patriotic Tribute pistol was authorized by America Remembers & Colt Manufacturing Company. An Edition of 500 Pistols were manufactured and this one being number 429 of the 500. The pistol is decorated with 24-karat gold finish and nickel plate. The decorations include American symbols of Freedom and Liberty, including Mount Rushmore, the Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty and a Golden Eagle. There is a banner within the American Freedom & Liberty decorations of each side of the slide, also representing our country, "One Nation Under God, Indivisible With Liberty And Justic For All". The sights, slide release, hammer, safety, magazine release, grip screws and Colt medallions are also finished in 24-karat gold.
