#3857 Hopkins & Allen “Defender” 22RF Short spur trigger pocket revolver, c1880s. This little personal defense gun retains about 95% original nickel finish, but unfortunately also has a cracked and chipped right side grip and needs a trigger return / cyl bolt spring to operate correctly. Not an expensive high-end collectors gun, but well worth the cheapie flat spring to repair since it has high finish. With the exception of the noted detriments, it is an Excellent gun as rated by ANTIQUE standards. NOTE!! After some further reseach, I'm pretty sure this is NOT a Hopkins & Allen made gun, but it is a Whitney Arms spur trigger revolver made between 1872-1879 when all Whitney Arms production ended with the company going belly-up.$115
