14-153 REMINGTON BEALS NAVY PERCUSSION CIVIL WAR REVOLVER
14-153 Remington Beals Navy Percussion Civil War Revolver, 36 cal., 6-shot 7 3/8” BBL. very early Serial #143 on frame and BBL. Standard Beals Markings, “Beals Patent Sept 14, 1858, manufactured by Remington Ilion New York”, These Beals are quite rare with 14,500 made (over 122,000 Remington Army’s were made). The bore is shiny with 70% of rifling and some corrosion; cylinder chambers are fairy clean. Action works well and locks up well when cocked. Metal has some corrosion on frame and on top of barrel which make it difficult to read markings. A few small dents. Walnut grips fit tightly, small dents chips etc., on bottom of grips. Overall a nice VG original antique Civil War Era Remington Beals Navy suitable for collector/shooter. (14-153) $1,600.00
