Description:
This saddle ring carbine has the marking on the butt plate " N.Y.S.T. 68". That in itself makes it somewhat special but the condition enhances the gun also. Nearly all bbl blue remains. Light wear on the bbl and mag tube. The right hand side of the receiver is mostly blue/brown patina. The left hand side exhibits more blue but is also aging to grey. Serial range is 850k. Nice fitting good condition wood. A VG+ bore. Cal 30. Interesting markings. Good gun!
