EMIL KERNER & SOHN BOXLOCK DRILLING ... 16 gauge x 16 gauge x 7.8MM caliber ... 26 3/4" matted rib barrels ... 2 3/4" chambers ... weight 7 lbs 9 oz ... 43 3/4" overall ... LOP 14" ... flip-up leaf rear sight that is activated from the tang & ramp mounted bead front sight ... barrels are equipped with bases for claw mount scope ... side safety ... cocking indicators ... side clips ... double triggers ... front & rear sling swivels.

The barrel is imprinted, "Emil Kerner & Sohn .. Suhl". The trigger guard, the fluted grip cap and the butt plate are horn. The coin colored frame has full coverage, deep relief, dark shaded engraving. The right side features a stag & doe escaping through the forest and the left side shown a bull elk and cow elk in a domestic scene. Surrounding these scenes and extending to the top and bottom is bold floral scroll in an entwined vine pattern. The medium dark European walnut stock features a pistol grip, a cheekpiece and a splinter forearm.

The bores are bright and rifling is sharp. The blue is 90% with no major scratches. The coin finish has acquired an aged look that is actually better than new.
