Parker (Belgium Mfg.), ANTIQUE, side x side hammer shotgun, 16 gauge, s/n 20629, gun came with a collection of nice guns, first thought it was a POS, upon close examination it's not really as bad as I first thought it was, resembles the real thing somewhat, definitely not a cheap-assed hardware store gun, guess it was a Belgium knockoff imported by someone to try to make people think they were getting a Charles Parker (Parker Bros.), so much for truth in advertising back then,
Gun is totally tight on face, third fastener (dollshead), hammers are very elaborate and nicely done (see photos), small halfway decent game scenes on both lockplates (see photos), both hammers work strongly but right firing pin is missing, gas checks,
Barrels are 30" in length, extractors, swamped hand filed rib, bore is Fair Minus to Poor Plus but I managed to chase the rats out of the shallow pits inside, LAMINATED, OF COURSE, tight on face,
Stock is Walnut, Not a crack in the stock anywhere, 14" LOP, checkering Excellent on buttstock, worn on forearm,
