COLT PREWAR ACE FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION serial number 30xx .22 L.R. features about 90% of its original and beautiful prewar blue with most loss being on the front grip strap. There is high edge wear evident and some random shallow scratches. The original walnut grips are very good with the checking showing some scattered compression spots and a few light dings. The bore and mechanics are excellent and this is a smooth clean gun that has been used but never abused and shows moderate, honest wear. One original two-tone clip in excellent condition is included.
OVERALL A GOOD LOOKING PREWAR ACE WHICH WILL CONTINUE TO APPRECIATE WHILE ALLOWING THE ENTERTAINMENT OF BEING ABLE TO SHOOT IT.
