Description:
US General Motors FP-45 Liberator single shot in .45 acp with 4 inch smoothbore barrel. This is the stamped sheet metal pistol that was dropped in France, during WW2, to help French Resistance fighters temporarily arm themselves. This is a late model (3 hole version) survivor in remarkable, functional condition. Most of these guns were scrapped after the war or did not survive in usable condition. Gray and brown patina finish, as should be, and gun fully functions mechanically.
