Being immersed in fine shotguns everyday of my life is a tough job, but somebody has to do it. One might think I could become numb to the nature of my business, but all it takes is a gun like this one to wake up my senses! Scan the internet and you will not find another Holland No. 2 for sale in 28ga. Only a few dozen ever made (later called the BADMINTON MODEL) and this one has PROVENANCE!. It was ordered by the Attorney General of Quebec, Charles Lanctot. Special ordered with detachable locks, sling swivels, case, accessories, etc. the gun remains intact exactly as shipped. We all know how rare that is! Fully functional and in excellent condition, it is ready to be walked afield again after its intended quarry; quail, woodcock, and grouse, as well as any other game or target one may feel inclined to shoot with this 5lb. 2oz. delight. Ordered at 13 5/8" LOP to a checkered butt, we can add a "PURDEY" style leather covered pad (the classiest way to lengthen an English double) and gracefully extend LOP to 14 3/8", or talk to us about other solutions. We are offering this gun under market value for good investment opportunities. This is a RARE chance to own a delightful Holland 28 bore.
