a very good James Dixon Improved Patent German silver powder flask that measures about 8 3/8" long with a good spout spring, and the four retaining rings intact. This flask has four proof marks up near the spout on the flask body, and has a oval inset of hunting hounds in copper with the hunter in the far background. One small shallow dent on the flat of the back side.Obviously a quality flask for it's day it is now dusty from hanging on the wall for many years.
