Description:
This old armor piercing sword looks to be about 220 to 300 years old or older, and construction is with rivets, and over the years I'm sure that repairs were made to keep this in action. Notice the re-enforced tip for piercing chest plate armor and chain mail links. The pommel is a long spike used to pierce the metal helmet of an opponent. The overall length is about a little bit more than three feet. With the blade about 27 1/4" long. Metal overall on this sword is aged corrosion and surface rust from being in a Maharaja fortress in India for a very long time. Check my listing for the most unusual weapons on thissite.
