Winchester Model 12 WWII Military trench gun, chambered in 12ga and manufactured in 1944. At the beginning of the shotguns life it started out as a WWII military trench gun and after the war like many of the luck veterans it shed its military life and went hunting. It has had a 30” Full Winchester replacement barrel put on it with the Winchester proof as well as the circle P proof. The gun still retain its parkerized finish with its U.S. and flaming cannon ball stamping. The stock still adorns the cross cannons with the G.H.D. stamping from when it was approved for service. I guess it could be put back to its military configuration but it still carries a special place in our history the way it is.
