Description:
This is a very nice example of an early cartridge conversion. All of the numbers match and the gun is mechanicaly sound. The barrel has been cut down to 5" and the bore is fairly dark with some pitting. Grips are well worn with chips on both sides. The pictures tell it all. serial # 170XXX manufactured in 1868.
