Description:
S# 81832B, 35 WCF, 24 inch barrel, good bore with strong rifling, pitted lightly throughout. This 1915 MFG takedown rifle features a matted front receiver ring, flattop rear sight, second type receiver markings (usually seen below # 45000), third style tang markings and Lyman bead front sight (missing bead). Rifle is in very good condition with tight takedown, 90% barrel blue, 80% blue on magazine and lever, and brown patinated receiver. Wood shows dings and scratches with a little oil wiped on long ago. The barrel has been recrowned without cutting, the front sight ramp is the correct 7/16 inch behind muzzle. This is a very attractive takedown 1895 in a usefull caliber, a fine addtion to any collection. FFL or C & R
