The magazine tube where the tube slides through the retaining ring has a faint line where the action was opened a few times. The sights are original to the rifle. there are no add ons or alterations. The stock and forend have no varnish loss. There are no dents or cracks. The bluing is fully intact. When disassembled there was still dried oil on the parts. This is a real clean sharp looking Remington! The only thing that can improve this gun is to have the original box! Keep in mind that this was one of Remington's most popular model 22's.
