Description:
Serial #3603, .30 RF, 3 1/4" barrel with a good, lightly pitted bore. This is a nice little pistol that has some traces of the original bright blue on the barrel (most noticeably on the top breech flat) blending with a mottled gray patina on the balance. A three digit assembly number is present on the underside of the barrel (647) while the brass frame has a few tiny traces of silver remaining but mostly has a dark yellow-ochre patina that has a series of small peen marks on the left side around the hammer pivot. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun and are in very good-fine condition with a repaired break on the left panel. The barrel lock-up is still tight and the mechanism functions flawlessly. These are rare guns with only an estimated 3600 units manufactured in total. This example is in very good plus condition and would make a great addition to any collection. Antique
