Overall gun is in excellent cond. Crisp sharp "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" acid etched marking on the bbl. 1-line Colt address on top of the bbl. 3-line Colt patent dates with a small " 44CF" on the trigger guard. Marking on the back strap is "J. Fitch". Excellent walnut grips with just a few mars and dings. Looks like someone used it to hang up a wanted poster! 92k serial range. Comes complete with Factory Letter of Authenticity listing 44 cal nickel finish and shipped to Hartley and Graham in New York with 200 guns in shipment. Does not list bbl length or type of grips. Excellent cond with about 75% overall bright nickel showing. Some flaking on the cylinder as well as some loss of nickel on the right hand side of the frame. Mechanics are crisp and tight. Nice early Colt SA which is rare to find in this cond.
