Description:
Winchester model 55 deluxe serial # 3681 first year of production. The model 55 having a limited production of apprximatley 30,000 guns, from 1925- 1934 are becoming very hard to find. This variaton of the model 94 was listed as a takedown frame .30 cal only for it's first years of production. 25-35, and .32 caliber cartidges became available, as did the soild frame in it's later years of production.
This model 55 retains 95% of it's original finish on barrel and reciever. Takedown ring has silvered along with the bottom of reciver, forend cap has a patina finish. Wood is really nice showing all of it's original finish, there are a few handling marks shown in the photo's. Bore is excellent.
