With its exhibition grade highly figured walnut, full coverage Celtic engraving, and superb handling this McKay Brown is a joy to own and to shoot. Cased in a leather maker’s case with fitted cordoba outer cover. *** The frame on this special shotgun is beautifully engraved and case colored with gold engraved maker’s name on both sides. The forend metal is also fully engraved and case colored. Double triggers and auto ejectors top off a classic game gun in over/under configuration. The serial number is 80xx.The gun weighs 6lb 11oz. *** The 28" auto ejector barrels have 2 3/4" chambers and are choked 1/4 & 1/2. They are topped by a raised hand crosshatched rib. The highly figured walnut stock is straight grip with beavertail forearm. The stock dimensions are 14-3/8” to a checkered butt by 1-3/8” by 2”. *** Replacement cost is over $90,000. This gun is virtually new with less than 150 rounds put through it.
