This is a pre-owned Montana Rifle Company American Standard Rifle (ASR) Friends of NRA edition in .22-250 Remington on their 1999 action with a 22” barrel. This is a classic rifle in matte blued chrome moly steel barreled action, and an American Black Walnut stock. This rifle features their Model 1999 action, which is a hybrid between the Model 70 and the Mauser 98. This action utilizes a Model 70 trigger and three position safety, but also incorporates the Mauser 98 breeching system with the C-ring and large claw extractor. It also has a five point gas venting system and a new style bolt release knob. The rifle has “FRIENDS OF NRA” engraved on the magazine floor plate. This rifle is in excellent condition with little to no wear visible.
