Colt Single Action Army .45 LC caliber revolver. Made in 1883. Smooth gray patina on metal. Barrel is 5½” in length and in .45 LC with a good bore strong rifling with light pitting. Grips are later replacements. Gun locks up tight and action works perfectly. This gun has a reproduction Bridgeport rig screw in frame. The screw would fit into a piece worn on a belt that allowed one to carry their gun without the need of a holster, for a faster draw.
