Description:
An interesting pin fire of about 45 cal. with 4 3/4" long round barrel and poor/fair rifles bore. The gun locks up but the trigger has to be pushed forward between rounds . The French walnut smooth grips have smooth wear but are good for the age, with added finish.The finish is grey metal with some patches of pitting and wear from being carried.Pitting around the front of the cylinder and on one patch of the cylinder. These pin fire revolvers saw hard use in the Civil War. Has a lanyard loop attached to the butt, but is missing the ring. Don't see any ,markings or name on the gun. This is a double action only gun.
