Description:
An unusual Ballard unmarked receiver with octagonal barrel The barrel is 26" with a relined bright clean and crisp rifled bore, and the chambered for .22 RF. Has a small front blade sight, and rear open sight. The American walnut has a long crack but is very stable with no movement at all and appear to have the original finish. Frame and barrel are plumb brown throughout including the crescent steel butt-plate. A good strong gun made long ago! No markings of any kind.
