Rogers and Spencer Army Model Revolver Conversion to cartridge 44 Rimfire, Bore Exc mint, Mech Exc like a new gun, Original wood grips Exc with cartouche, Has a 7 ½” Oct barrel with original front sight. The frame has the Rogers and Spencer Utica NY markings on the top strap. Has inspector initials on the barrel, frame , cylinder, hammer and grips, ramrod and triggerguard. Has a small shield marking on the bottom of the frame. Serial number 4033 all match, bbl, frame, cylinder, backstrap, and grips. Manufactured 1865 5800 produced 5000 sold to the Government in 1864 Later sold to Bannerman civilian dealer , Many are in fine to mint condition yet. Metal overall has 65% original Bright blue finish with the ramrod and hammer having some case colors. Reloadable ctgs at Dixie gun works
