Description:
S# 2932M, 7.92x57mm, 23.6 inch barrel, bright, excellent bore. This carbine features matching numbers on bolt handle, safety, striker, front band, stock, and buttplate. Bottom metal shows 2632, 9 is upside down. Only the buttplate shows a Waffenamt. Stock is laminated wood, front band stamped with crude weld line, triggerguard is stamped sheet metal. Floorplate shows "byf", base marked "SVW". Metal surfaces retain 96% + arsenal blue, wood is excellent with light marks from use. Rear sight base shows importer mark on left side. A very good postwar rifle for the shooter or collector. FFL or C&R
