Description:
Serial #70728, .380 ACP, 3 1/2" barrel with a good bore that has light-moderate freckling along its length. The metal on this "28" dated, matching numbered pistol has retained 85-90% of the original blue finish that has faded to bright gray at the muzzle and silvered slightly along the high edges and projections. Additionally, there are small specks of freckling along the muzzle-end of the pistol and along the sideplate as well. The trigger and hammer retain most of their original straw coloring with the extractor and safety faded to a dull pewter gray patina and there is a unit or issue marking on the frontstrap, "11.P." The smooth walnut grip is missing one screw and is in good shape but does have scattered scratches and small handling marks as well as a vertical with-the-grain crack at the heel on the right side. The pistol is housed in an original unmarked black leather flap holster in very good condition and is a very good example of a pre-war Czech pistol. FFl or C&R
