This rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, barrel, bolt, and magazine with the metal retaining 85-90% of the original blue finish that has silvered at the muzzle and faded to a pewter gray along the raised surfaces and edges. The bolt has a dark gray patina and the red-brown resin handle is intact. The wooden stock and handguard have an armory added varnish finish over numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes but the Neuchatel markings are still crisp and clear on the comb. The magazine has a mostly freckled gray metal floor but retains most of the blue on the side walls. The leather sling is in very good shape with some minor crazing along its length and an original Swiss military muzzle-cover is also included.
